About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Account Handler to join our Delegated Authority Claims team at GB001 Marsh Ltd. As a Claims Account Handler, you will play a critical role in managing and administering our Coverholder's losses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support our dedicated Delegated Authority Claims team to manage and administer our Coverholder's losses
  • Work closely with Coverholders/DCA's to ensure oversight of all Claims matters
  • Keep up to date with all regulatory and Lloyd's updates and changes affecting the Delegated Authority market
  • Handle and case manage claims and contribute to the satisfactory resolution of complex and/or contentious issues
  • Credit control: monitoring payments on a daily basis, liaising with Accounts Department as required
  • Use ECF, CLASS & IMR to handle large volumes of Bordereau work, Urgent Cash Call Collections & Account Reconciliations
  • Meet agreed standards of accuracy, service, work volumes, and other performance targets in line with bespoke Client SLA's
  • Maintain good client and market relationships
Requirements

Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience of Delegated Authorities, with either an Insurer or Broker
  • Previous claims handling/insurance experience, with either with an Insurer or Broker
  • CII qualifications or a willingness to study for and obtain
  • Genuine keenness to build a career within the insurance industry MS Excel skills
