We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Account Handler to join our Delegated Authority Claims team at GB001 Marsh Ltd. As a Claims Account Handler, you will play a critical role in managing and administering our Coverholder's losses.
Key Responsibilities- Support our dedicated Delegated Authority Claims team to manage and administer our Coverholder's losses
- Work closely with Coverholders/DCA's to ensure oversight of all Claims matters
- Keep up to date with all regulatory and Lloyd's updates and changes affecting the Delegated Authority market
- Handle and case manage claims and contribute to the satisfactory resolution of complex and/or contentious issues
- Credit control: monitoring payments on a daily basis, liaising with Accounts Department as required
- Use ECF, CLASS & IMR to handle large volumes of Bordereau work, Urgent Cash Call Collections & Account Reconciliations
- Meet agreed standards of accuracy, service, work volumes, and other performance targets in line with bespoke Client SLA's
- Maintain good client and market relationships
- Planning and organisational skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Able to promote continuous improvement and respond positively to change
- Good attention to detail with a methodical and conscientious approach
- Quick to take on-board new information which is technical in nature
- Analytically minded with the ability to resolve complex queries
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good numeracy skills
- Experience of Delegated Authorities, with either an Insurer or Broker
- Previous claims handling/insurance experience, with either with an Insurer or Broker
- CII qualifications or a willingness to study for and obtain
- Genuine keenness to build a career within the insurance industry MS Excel skills
