Caregiver Advocate Role

Join Central Carers Association as a Caregiver Advocate Role and play a vital part in supporting unpaid carers in the Falkirk area.

This dynamic role involves providing information and counselling services to unpaid carers, enabling them to access necessary support and resources.

You will work closely with carers and network partners to promote Adult Carer Support Plans and foster a sense of community through local and national forums.

The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and thrive in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver information and support services to unpaid carers
  • Foster partnerships with network providers to enhance support services
  • Encourage carers to participate in Adult Carer Support Plans
  • Promote local and national forums to facilitate connection and knowledge-sharing

Essential Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively
  • Motivated and enthusiastic about supporting unpaid carers

Salary and Benefits: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
