About the Role
This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced or aspiring caregiver to make a real difference in the lives of others. As a Homecare Support Specialist, you will provide personalized care and support to our clients, assisting with daily living activities, personal care, and medication management.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support clients with meal preparation and cooking
- Manage client medications, ensuring adherence to prescribed regimens
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement client care plans
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for work
- PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) check
- Ability to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC)
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and training
