**Residential Support Worker (Level 1)**

**A bit about the role**

Our Residential Support Worker (Level 1) is an entry level role where you don't need previous experience or qualifications, we're looking for a positive attitude and the desire to give the best care to children and young people. This is a great opportunity to get your ‘foot in the door' and allows you to explore the field of Social Care and decide if it's the right fit for you, whilst gaining practical experience.

You'll create a safe and supportive environment for children and young people to grow and develop, ensuring wellbeing is prioritised by delivering personalised care, guidance and advocacy. It's key that they stay safe and healthy and can reach their full potential.

Tayavalla is a short breaks service based in Camelon, Falkirk offering residential short breaks to children and young people with complex health care needs, learning and physical disabilities. We encourage inclusion, ensuring that the children and young people are part of the wider community, through outings and activities we aim to provide a fun and stimulating environments for all our young people.

Ideally you'll:

- Understand how to engage with young people.
- Have a positive approach and ‘can do' attitude.

- Be ready to complete a level 3 in Residential Childcare within 2 years of commencing employment with us, full support will be provided.
