We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Personal Care Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to our clients, empowering them to maintain their independence and dignity.

About the Role

This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced or aspiring caregiver to make a real difference in the lives of others. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will assist clients with daily living activities, personal care, and medication management, promoting independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support clients with meal preparation and cooking
  • Manage client medications, ensuring adherence to prescribed regimens
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement client care plans

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for work
  • PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) check
  • Ability to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC)
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and training
