The successful candidate will provide support to clients in their daily lives, assisting with community access, shopping, and social activities. Light house duties and carer respite experience are highly valued. School hours are available, providing flexibility for those balancing work and personal responsibilities.

We welcome candidates with social care experience, although training is available for the right individual. A SVQ2, HNC in Health and Social Care, or equivalent qualification is essential. Strong English communication skills, a driving licence, and car ownership are also requirements. Proof of right to work in the UK is mandatory.

About the Role:
  • Foster positive relationships with clients, family, friends, and agencies through effective communication and empathy.
  • Advocate for clients' human rights and promote adherence to health and social care standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of client care, ensuring evidence-based practice that respects dignity, respect, choice, compassion, wellbeing, and responsiveness to changing needs.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, statutory obligations, and Potters Health Care's policies and procedures.
