Your Role:
As a Senior Care Assistant at Meallmore, you will be an integral part of our care team, providing compassionate support to our residents and promoting their independence and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Registered Nurse/Team Leader in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the holistic care needs of individuals using the service
- Provide positive work areas and practices, ensuring they are safe and conform to relevant standards, policies, and legislation
- Work collaboratively with all departments within the care service to achieve outcomes
- Collaborate with care staff in your department and wider teams
- Carry out personal care duties
Requirements:
- Experience working as a care assistant/support worker or similar care setting is essential
- Working towards the qualification to meet SSSC registration requirements
- SVQ level 3 or above/equivalent in Social Services and Healthcare (as per SSSC guidelines)
- PDA/Equivalent in Supervision
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- A kind, caring nature
