Your Role:


As a Senior Care Assistant at Meallmore, you will be an integral part of our care team, providing compassionate support to our residents and promoting their independence and well-being.



Responsibilities:



  • Support the Registered Nurse/Team Leader in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the holistic care needs of individuals using the service
  • Provide positive work areas and practices, ensuring they are safe and conform to relevant standards, policies, and legislation
  • Work collaboratively with all departments within the care service to achieve outcomes
  • Collaborate with care staff in your department and wider teams
  • Carry out personal care duties


Requirements:



  • Experience working as a care assistant/support worker or similar care setting is essential
  • Working towards the qualification to meet SSSC registration requirements
  • SVQ level 3 or above/equivalent in Social Services and Healthcare (as per SSSC guidelines)
  • PDA/Equivalent in Supervision
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • A kind, caring nature

Salary:


£16.50 - £19.50 per hour (dependent on experience), plus benefits
