Job Title: Sales Director - Luxury Travel

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Sales Director to lead our luxury travel sales team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing a high-performing team, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership and Motivation:

  • Cultivate a Collaborative and Competitive Environment: Foster a culture that encourages teamwork, innovation, and high performance.

Tailored Coaching and Development:

  • Use Situational Leadership: Customize your approach to meet the unique needs of each team member.
  • Conduct Regular Call Listening and Structured One-on-Ones: Provide regular feedback and coaching to enhance team performance.
  • Foster a Culture of Continuous Learning and Development: Encourage team members to continuously learn and grow.


Resource and Capacity Management:

  • Proactively Manage Team Resources: Ensure sufficient staffing and resources to meet business needs.
  • Continuously Assess Team Capacity: Monitor team workload and adjust as needed to avoid overload.


Client Experience and Operational Excellence:

  • Embed a Culture of Exceptional Client Service: Ensure that exceeding client expectations is a standard practice.
  • Collaborate with Sales Coordinators and Operations: Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless client experiences.
  • Handle Operational and Emergency Situations: Respond promptly to client needs and resolve issues efficiently.


Cross-Departmental Collaboration:

  • Engage Proactively with Other Managers: Foster knowledge sharing and best practices across departments.
  • Work Closely with Regional Product Managers/Executives: Collaborate on commercial and marketing initiatives to drive business growth.


Experience and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated History of Exceeding Sales Targets: Proven track record of delivering outstanding results.
  • Experience in Sales Team Leadership or Management: Highly desirable for this role.
  • Passion for the Travel Industry: Strong understanding of the luxury travel market.
  • Confident Communicator: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive, Energetic, and Outgoing Personality: Ability to lead and inspire others.
  • Proven Track Record in Travel Sales: Solid understanding of commercial aspects.
  • Strong Alignment with Company Strategy: Motivation to achieve results through the team.
