National Account Manager Lead

Solent Group drives innovation in the FMCG sector, delivering creative products for global customers. Our diverse portfolio encompasses Retailers and bespoke products across various categories, including Health & Beauty, Household Impulse Snacking, and Reusable Bags.
We are seeking a seasoned National Account Controller to lead one of our commercial teams and build robust relationships with high street and grocery customers. This role entails championing your area, driving clear strategy, development, and profitability across the group.
Key Responsibilities:- Expand existing client bases and generate new business opportunities.
- Develop and execute yearly sales and Joint Business Plans (JBPs).
- Empower and develop your team through coaching, training, and mentorship.
- Pioneering future growth opportunities in your customers and delivering value, gross margin, and volume targets.
- Support the wider sales team and collaborate with colleagues on their accounts.
- You possess a minimum of 5 years of experience working in FMCG national accounts.
- Retail/FMCG experience is essential, ideally with top 6 grocery companies.
- You are detail-oriented, able to multitask, and set priorities effectively.
- You are results-driven, focused on commercials and P&L management.
- You possess strong relationship-building acumen and excellent communication skills.
- You have strong leadership and organisational skills.
