About the Opportunity

This is a long-term contract, 5 days a week, 8:30-16:00, offering a salary scale of £450-£500 per week. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in social justice, parole, probation, and the criminal justice system, particularly in advocacy for mental health.

Job Overview

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be working with students aged 5-19, supporting their social, emotional, and mental health needs. The Alternative Provision is situated in Milton Keynes, providing a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a therapeutic environment.

Requirements

A Real focus on outside interests that diversify away from core subjects is desirable. Knowledge, keen interest, or understanding of different types of learning and behavioural needs (SEMH elements of the provision) is essential.
