As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with our team to provide high-quality support to students with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities- To work with small groups of students, providing one-to-one support and guidance to enhance their learning experience.
- To assist with lesson planning and preparation, ensuring that materials and resources are accessible and inclusive for all students.
- To maintain accurate records of student progress and engagement, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address these.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- An undergraduate degree in a relevant field, such as psychology or criminology, or equivalent experience working with SEN students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- A real passion for supporting students with mental health and SEN challenges, with a keen interest in restorative and therapeutic approaches to education and behaviour management.
We offer a competitive salary of £450-£500 per week, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, we provide a range of benefits, including comprehensive training and development opportunities, access to ongoing education and professional development, and a supportive and collaborative team environment.
