About the TeamThe Mental Health Support Team (MHST) is a dynamic team that works to improve access and availability of mental health and wellbeing support for children and young people. As an Education Mental Health Professional, you will play a key role in delivering evidence-based interventions and supporting schools to develop their whole-school approach to mental health.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver low-intensity evidence-based interventions for children and young people in education settings
- Support schools to develop their whole-school approach to mental health
- Collaborate with other professionals to provide a comprehensive mental health service
The successful candidate will possess a postgraduate qualification or degree-level mental health nursing, social work, occupational therapy, or equivalent substantial experience. Registration with a relevant professional body is also essential.
Salary and BenefitsWe are offering a competitive salary of £32,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including pension scheme, annual leave, and opportunities for career development.
