Dunbar Education is a dedicated SEN Provision in Milton Keynes supporting pupils aged 11-17 with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and behavioural challenges. As an experienced Education Liaison Officer, you will:
- Serve as the primary liaison between our provision and external educational institutions.
- Analyze individual pupil needs, identifying barriers to learning and development.
- Monitor pupil progress and engagement, providing feedback and recommendations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive support for pupils.
- Advocate for pupils' needs within the educational system.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of pupil interactions, progress, and outcomes.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Previous experience working with children or young people with behavioural challenges.
- A strong understanding of Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
- The ability to build effective relationships with pupils, families, and educational professionals.
- A current DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
We are looking for a passionate professional who wants to make a difference in the lives of young people. The estimated salary for this role is around £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
