About the Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and empathetic Autism Education and Support Professional to join our team at Dunbar Education. As a Specialist Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Autism, aged 11-18, in a small, specialist school environment.

We take a holistic approach to supporting our students, addressing their unique challenges and promoting emotional well-being and engagement with their learning. You will work closely with key workers to create a structured and safe space for learning and growth.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting Students: Provide individualised support to students, working closely with key workers to address their unique challenges.
  • Community Engagement: Assist students in participating in activities within the community, fostering independence, social skills, and practical learning experiences outside the school setting.
  • Safeguarding: Ensure that all safeguarding and health protocols are followed at all times, prioritising the safety and comfort of the students.
What We Offer
