Role Overview
Academics Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Mental Health Assistant to join their team in Milton Keynes. This role presents an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about working with children and additional needs.

The successful candidate will have the chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH), Autism, and behavioral difficulties. As a key member of the support staff, they will contribute to creating a safe and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic growth and emotional well-being.

We are particularly interested in Psychology and Criminology graduates who are aspiring Education Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, or Occupational Therapists. If you possess a strong desire to work with children and are committed to delivering high-quality support, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with SEMH, Autism, and behavioral difficulties
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement personalized education plans
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and development

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Criminology, or a related field
  • Experience working with children in various settings (desirable)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patient and empathetic approach when interacting with students

What We Offer:
A competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits including professional development opportunities and a supportive work environment.
