About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mental Health Specialist to join our team as a Duty Practitioner. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing timely support and assistance to clients who are struggling with their mental health and experiencing emotional distress.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Providing emotional support and reassurance to clients in need;
  2. Conducting brief assessments to understand clients' current mental health status, risks, and determine appropriate interventions;
  3. Connecting clients with additional resources, services, or support groups for ongoing care and assistance;
  4. Offering psychoeducation and guidance to help clients better understand their mental health issues and develop coping strategies;
  5. Collaborative problem-solving to support clients in identifying challenges and developing effective plans to address their needs and goals.

You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team working closely with colleagues, sharing experiences, and learning from each other. This is an excellent opportunity to grow and develop your knowledge and skills while making a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
