Account Advisor Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Arrears Specialist to join our Housing Team on a PFI contract in Islington. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the prevention and recovery of rent arrears from tenants.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work within our Commercial division, managing financial risks and ensuring that contractual targets are met. You will be working closely with tenants, answering their queries and providing advice and support where needed.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Liaise with tenants to ensure timely rent payments, avoiding arrears and meeting contractual collection targets.
  2. Provide expert guidance on rent charges and payments, responding promptly to tenant enquiries via phone and email.
  3. Support tenants in accessing advice and help, promoting a positive and inclusive service.
  4. Collaborate with the wider Housing team to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve PFI contractual service standards.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with tenants. Knowledge of rent accounts is desirable but not essential.
