Substance Misuse Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Substance Misuse Specialist to join our team in Oxfordshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of Children & Young People, engaging with them in various settings, and providing advice, information, and practical support to access positive changes.
Key Responsibilities:- To build relationships with Young People aged between 8-25 years old
- Carrying out assessments, care planning, brief and comprehensive interventions
- Engaging with young people and their families in various settings such as schools, colleges, and local community venues.
- Experience of working within the Substance Misuse field
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Experience of community engagement
The ideal candidate will have experience of delivering group work and possess excellent communication skills. They will also have a strong understanding of the impact of substance misuse on individuals and families.
In return, we offer an excellent salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
