Role Summary


We are seeking an experienced Recovery Nurse or Non-Medical Prescriber to join our multi-disciplinary team. The successful candidate will provide specialist clinical services, including prescribing, health interventions, and harm reduction initiatives.



Key Responsibilities



  • Prescribe medication for service users receiving opiate substitute treatment
  • Manage community alcohol detoxifications
  • Deliver wellbeing clinics in the community, focusing on Blood Bourne Virus testing and vaccination, as well as harm reduction and well-being interventions
  • Lead multi-disciplinary meetings with Recovery Workers, providing governance and supporting their learning and development
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Operations Manager, Clinical Lead (Consultant Psychiatrist), and National Chief Pharmacist for support and guidance


Requirements



  • Registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council or a qualified Non-Medical Prescriber Nurse (NMP)
  • Confidence in managing prescribing for opiates and alcohol detoxifications within our Nursing Teams
  • Able to demonstrate effective health interventions with hard-to-reach cohorts, such as homelessness
