We are seeking a Therapeutic Support Specialist to become a part of our clinical team at Scunthorpe. This role involves working collaboratively to create tailored assessment and intervention strategies for our students facing developmental challenges, autism, ADHD, and complex social, emotional, and mental health needs.

Role Overview
**We recognize the importance of supporting our employees in achieving their Continued Professional Development objectives and provide a £2,000 training allowance for role-specific training that meets your individual needs.** You will adopt a comprehensive, therapeutic approach to assist our students in their daily activities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.
In this role, you will carry out all aspects of clinical Occupational Therapy duties, adhering to professional and regulatory standards, conducting individual assessments and interventions, and preparing necessary documentation, including report writing. Additionally, you will offer information and training to staff, commissioners, and other stakeholders as needed.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Recognized and relevant degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Valid and current HCPC registration
  • Sensory qualification
  • Experience working with Children and Young People
  • Experience in an educational environment is advantageous
  • Valid full UK Driving Licence and access to a personal vehicle
