Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire, United Kingdom Creative Support Full time

We are seeking compassionate, dedicated, and dynamic individuals to join our team at Creative Support, where we provide tailored assistance to individuals with learning disabilities and intricate needs. Our service users may exhibit challenging behaviors or require complex physical support, but we ensure comprehensive training and guidance to help you provide the best care possible.

We are looking for candidates who are genuinely passionate about the social care field and are eager to work in an environment that prioritizes person-centered values. As a member of our team, you will receive ongoing supervision during your initial period to equip you with the necessary knowledge and skills. In addition to delivering direct care, you will have the chance to serve as a Key Worker, empowering individuals to pursue their aspirations and goals.

Key Responsibilities of a Support Worker Include:

• Building and maintaining warm, trusting relationships with service users

• Performing administrative tasks and managing housing-related duties

• Administering prescribed medications

• Assisting with personal care needs

• Engaging and collaborating with service users' families, support networks, and relevant professionals.

While we appreciate relevant experience in supporting individuals with mental health challenges, prior experience is not mandatory if you can showcase a positive attitude, person-centered values, enthusiasm, and dedication. A strong work ethic and a commitment to care are essential, as is the ability to contribute to a collaborative team environment. We offer comprehensive training to help you grow in your role. This position is part-time, with hours to be determined.

Reference Number: 80542
Applications for this position must be submitted through the Creative Support website using the reference number provided.

Benefits of joining Creative Support include a probationary bonus, pension contributions, 28 days of leave pro rata, and company-paid enhanced DBS checks.

We are a passionate, inclusive, and anti-racist organization, recognized as a Stonewall Diversity Champion and a Disability Confident Employer, and we have recently achieved the Investors in People Gold award.

Please note that we can only accept applications from candidates who are eligible to work within the UK. This position is not open to sponsorship under the UKVI scheme.
