About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Therapeutic Child and Family Worker to join our team at Ask Recruiting Limited. As a Therapeutic Child and Family Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, specialist therapeutic services to children, young people, and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with children, young people, and their families to identify and address their needs, providing individualized support and guidance.
  • Develop and implement therapeutic plans to promote positive outcomes and improve the well-being of children and families.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers, teachers, and healthcare providers, to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to support.
  • Provide education and training to parents and caregivers on topics such as trauma-informed care, attachment, and relational needs.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify the needs of children and families, and develop strategies to address these needs.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in a related field, such as social work, counseling, or psychology.
  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed care, attachment, and relational needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, young people, and their families.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of organization and time management skills.
  • Enhanced DBS check and ability to work with vulnerable populations.
