Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Fostering Social Worker to join our team at North Lincolnshire Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking Form F, Form C, and Special Guardianship Order assessments, as well as providing support to children and families through our one family approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake comprehensive assessments and provide support to children and families
  • Work alongside foster families and other professionals to develop support plans
  • Deliver training and provide guidance to foster carers and families
  • Recruit and match children with suitable foster families
  • Present to foster panels and provide reports

Requirements:

  • Qualification in social work or a related field
  • Experience in fostering or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
