**Job Title:** Support Worker

**Job Type:** Full-time or Part-time

**About Us:** Creative Support is a leading provider of person-centered support services for individuals with learning disabilities, mental health needs, and other support requirements.

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at our supported living services in Scunthorpe. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enabling our service users to live fulfilling lives, promoting their independence, and supporting them in their daily activities.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide personal care and support to service users, including assistance with daily living tasks, medication administration, and domestic duties.
  • Encourage and support service users to engage in a range of social activities, both within and outside their homes, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Develop and maintain warm and trusting relationships with service users and their families, ensuring their needs are met and their rights are respected.
  • Work flexibly to meet the needs of the service, including working evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

**Requirements:**

  • Experience of working in a care or support setting, preferably with individuals with learning disabilities or mental health needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet the needs of the service.
  • Commitment to promoting the rights, dignity, and well-being of service users, and to upholding the values of Creative Support.
