Job Title: Therapeutic Support Specialist

Location: Roxby House, Scunthorpe

Salary: Up to £53,200 dependent on experience plus £2,000 Training and Development allowance

Hours: 22.5 hours per week, 9am - 5pm across Monday-Friday

Contract: Permanent, 52 weeks

Essential: Valid full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle

We are seeking a dedicated Therapeutic Support Specialist to join our clinical team at Roxby House in Scunthorpe. This role involves working collaboratively to create personalized assessment and intervention strategies for our students facing developmental challenges, including trauma, autism, ADHD, and complex social, emotional, and mental health needs.

In this position, you will adopt a comprehensive, therapeutic approach to assist our students in their daily activities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. You will carry out all aspects of clinical duties associated with Occupational Therapy, adhering to professional and regulatory standards. This includes conducting individual assessments, implementing interventions, and preparing necessary documentation, such as reports. Additionally, you will provide training and information to staff, commissioners, and other relevant agencies as needed.

Essential Criteria:

  • Recognized and relevant degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Valid and up-to-date HCPC registration
  • Sensory qualification
  • Experience working with Children and Young People
  • Experience in an educational setting is advantageous
  • Valid full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle
