About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Public Health Programme Manager to lead two key programmes: 'Prevention and Early Years' and the 'Good Food and Movement' programme. This is a strategic role within the Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan Local Public Health Team, working across Cardiff and Vale University Health Board and reporting to its Executive Director for Public Health.

Your Responsibilities

  • Deliver effectively across a range of partner agencies using a programme management approach.
  • Work collaboratively with Public Services Boards (aligned to the Wellbeing of Future Generations (Wales) Act), and through the Regional Partnership Board (aligned to the Social Services and Wellbeing (Wales) Act).
  • Contribute to managing programmes of work that improve the health of the population of Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan.
  • Support the planning, development, delivery, and evaluation of partnership programmes and initiatives to promote health and well-being across all sectors.
