The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced engineer to join our innovative West Building Engineering Group. Our team has been involved in diverse projects both in the UK and internationally, including healthcare facilities. As a lead engineer, you will be responsible for the overall design, technical delivery, quality, and management of complex projects, applying your expertise in public health engineering.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and delivery of public health engineering solutions for a variety of building types.
  • Manage project teams and ensure effective collaboration across disciplines.
  • Develop detailed designs and specifications in accordance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other documentation as required.

Qualifications:

We are looking for a candidate who possesses:

  • A degree in Public Health Engineering or a related field with chartered engineer status.
  • Proven technical excellence in delivering public health solutions.
  • A strong understanding of sector-specific legislation, code requirements, and design guidance.
  • Experience in managing project teams and staff performance.
