Finance Operations Associate

Location: North Tawton

Gregory Distribution Ltd is seeking a Finance Operations Associate to join our team at the Head office in North Tawton.

Key Responsibilities of the Finance Operations Associate include:

  • Reconciling purchase invoices with recorded orders using our DB Capture software.
  • Collaborating with various departments to address any pricing discrepancies between purchase orders and invoices.
  • Conducting supplier statement reconciliations as necessary.
  • Working collaboratively with other finance team members and departments to deliver a professional and supportive service to all suppliers and colleagues.
  • Timely escalation of issues, ensuring that critical information is communicated regularly to relevant teams and individuals.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, delivering exceptional customer service and resolving any account-related queries.
  • Proposing enhancements for system improvements to foster more efficient processes.
  • Performing general finance administration tasks.

Essential Qualifications for Finance Operations Associate:

  • Experience in finance or accounts administration.
  • Strong communication skills across all levels.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and effective workload prioritization.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to meet daily deadlines.
  • Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as Sage or similar software.
