About the Role

Siemens Financial Services Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Internal Sales Executive to join our Asset Finance sales team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing internal support for our vendor-referred sales team and introducers across our sales channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proposal Management: Manage Siemens Financial Services proposals and final lease submissions in a timely and accurate manner within the healthcare channel.
  • Relationship Development: Develop and support relationships with end-users, third-party introducers, and vendor clients to maximize SFS leasing opportunities in line with business targets and goals.
  • Opportunity Management: Manage all opportunities from initial enquiry and tender response through to timely new business activation, including liaising with Asset Management/Risk/Commercial teams if necessary.
  • Sales Support: Liaise with account development managers and sources of new business to identify all business opportunities for SFS, and deal progression. Support sales meetings with introducers, suppliers, and end-customers.
  • Pricing and Risk Assessment: Price new business opportunities using a portfolio-based pricing approach and ensure sales support by liaising with the wider Asset Finance sales team and other internal departments.
  • Credit Risk Assessment: Conduct initial assessments of credit risk viability of opportunities and, where applicable, complete a credit report for same, including presenting opportunities at the credit committee when required.
  • Forecasting and Reporting: Update new business forecasting spreadsheets for submission to the Head of Sales on a monthly basis.
  • Market Intelligence: Proactively contribute to wider company projects and schemes as required, undertaking regular reviews of competitor activity and market intelligence, providing reports/presentations of risks and opportunities, capturing new trends.
Requirements
  • Professional Telephone Manner: Possess a professional telephone manner.
  • Customer Contact Experience: Have experience in daily regular customer contact on telephone and written.
  • Pressure Management: Be able to work under pressure, be self-motivated, and proactive.
  • Industry Experience: Have experience within a similar environment - account management/sales support/sales administration.
  • Asset Leasing Knowledge: Have experience in asset or finance leasing, which would be advantageous.
  • Lease Products and Pricing: Possess a comprehensive understanding of lease products and pricing methodology, which is preferred.
  • Credit Risk Knowledge: Have knowledge of credit risk/lending/balance sheet assessment, which is preferred.
  • Adaptability: Be willing to embrace change, contributing new and better ways of working to support our continual improvement culture.
