Job Title: Executive Assistant and Events Coordinator

Job Summary:

Urenco Global is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant and Events Coordinator to provide high-level administrative support to the Head of Communications and the global Communications team. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing and executing key Urenco events, developing and implementing a detailed events plan, and providing day-to-day proactive support to the Head of Communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day proactive support to the Head of Communications, including inbox and diary management and arranging domestic and international travel.
  • Develop and implement a detailed events plan and organize key internal and external events, including conferences, reward and recognition events, employee events, briefings, seminars, workshops, forums, receptions, dinners, and attendance at key conferences.
  • Work with a wide range of colleagues to develop and deliver Urenco's social impact programme, which includes building strategic partnerships with other organizations.
  • Carry out communications department administration, such as scheduling and coordinating meetings, distributing meeting agendas and action lists, and supporting with the coordination of the publication of key announcements, events, and other communication activity.

Requirements:

  • Proven administrative experience working at a senior level, specifically organizing complex travel itineraries and diary-management.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills in relation to events.
  • Knowledge and experience of using Content Management Systems is desirable.
