Travel is a component of this role, with frequency varying based on client, team, and individual circumstances.

Role Overview: In this pivotal position, you will guide clients through the deal life-cycle, from the pre-deal diligence stages—where you will analyze value creation potential—through to signing and the post-deal phase, where you will drive value creation through revenue growth and margin enhancements in 'high stakes' acquisition and divestment scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead M&A engagements with Private Equity clients, focusing on Due Diligence, Carve Outs, and Integration engagements.
  • Collaborate with Industry Groups on M&A activities across various sectors.
  • Contribute to the growth of our EMEA M&A practice capabilities in partnership with our broader EMEA M&A colleagues.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working with private equity clients on buy-side and sell-side operational due diligence and strategy evaluations.
  • Expertise in executing large, complex separation, integration, and value creation initiatives.
  • Extensive experience in pre-deal (operational due diligence, synergy identification, carve-out planning) and post-deal scenarios (integration/cut-out planning and execution).
  • Demonstrated leadership in critical business topics such as performance enhancement, operating model design, M&A, and revenue growth.
  • Strong relationship management skills with stakeholders while achieving results.
  • Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and executive-level presentation capabilities.
  • Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of an additional language is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel and work outside of standard business hours as unique projects arise.
  • A Master's degree and/or an MBA, with evidence of a strong academic record.
