As the Senior Manager of Strategic Partnerships, you will represent the Amazon Devices organization externally, taking charge of the strategy that shapes our Devices business within the French retail sector. You will have the independence to cultivate and establish retail alliances, with sales accountability for our flagship product lines: Echo, FireTV, and Kindle.

In this capacity, you will oversee our strategic partnerships, fostering relationships with key external retailers while crafting sales and marketing strategies to stimulate growth across our Devices and the broader Smart Home category. You will devise and execute plans that cater to both new and existing customers, aiming to surpass financial targets that emphasize long-term success over short-term gains.

A successful candidate will demonstrate strong commercial insight and the ability to forge deep, integrated partnerships that unlock and enhance Amazon Device growth. They will be a thoughtful strategist, equipped with the energy to operate swiftly. Expertise in consumer electronics retail dynamics, trends, and challenges is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Formulate and execute the retail strategy for Amazon Devices in France, enhancing collaboration with existing strategic retail partners and identifying new sales opportunities. This strategy will be implemented in partnership with our channel marketing team across various platforms (both in-store and online).
  2. Negotiate commercial terms with both new and existing clients, striving for mutually beneficial outcomes for Amazon and its retail partners.
  3. Develop and implement annual joint business plans, which include marketing and execution strategies for in-store and digital platforms.
  4. Organize and prepare regular business reviews, focusing on long-term initiatives to foster closer collaboration between Amazon and its partners.
  5. Coordinate the launch of new products, influencing timelines based on channel constraints and ensuring flawless execution of go-to-market activities across all retail partners.
  6. Present and advocate for Amazon devices to senior audiences, possessing a comprehensive understanding of product features and the needs of retail partners.
  7. Drive ongoing enhancements in retail channels by testing innovative marketing initiatives.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Fluency in English and French is essential.
  2. Several years of professional experience in positioning and selling innovative solutions to new and existing customers across various market segments.
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  4. Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar platforms.
  5. Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Understanding of procurement and source-to-pay processes or equivalent experience.
  2. Experience in identifying trends and needs to enhance large-scale technology agreements.
  3. Background in B2B or enterprise sales with a focus on acquiring new business.
