You will hold full responsibility for enhancing digital sales through strategic commercial planning, initiative development, and operational execution across our digital platforms. Your role will involve crafting and implementing campaign, brand, and promotional strategies while collaborating with digital marketing, commercial, and optimization teams to drive initiatives aimed at improving conversion rates and other sales and customer performance indicators.

  • Responsible for the daily management and execution of multiple online platforms
  • Shape and oversee the reporting of trade performance on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis, providing in-depth analysis of key business drivers and formulating action plans to meet sales and contribution objectives
  • Guide team analysis of seasonal sales trends to maintain commercial insight, understanding competitive landscape and customer behavior
  • Collaborate with essential stakeholders across digital and broader business teams to strategize the digital trading calendar
  • Lead the execution and reporting of all on-site promotions and content activities
  • Define and manage long-term trading strategies, considering design and functionality enhancements, contributing to product development and user experience roadmaps
  • Partner with the digital marketing team to ensure that product and trading strategies align with the overarching digital marketing strategy across all channels
  • Collaborate with the optimization team to ensure that customer journeys and all campaigns and promotions are effectively supported to achieve key performance indicators
  • Work alongside the brand marketing team to ensure that assets are commercially viable and utilize tools to report on asset performance
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders to manage the development and execution of ongoing and seasonal content requirements to enhance SEO, customer engagement, and conversion
  • Oversee the process of enhancing product content, assisting teams in resolving issues promptly to optimize sales

Leadership and Team Management

  • Exhibit strong leadership and extensive team management capabilities
  • Establish clear objectives, goals, and development plans for team members
  • Cultivate an effective and motivated team, fostering collaboration beyond individual contributions
  • Actively contribute to the team, enhancing the overall digital strategy
  • Represent the Digital Trading Team across the organization, ensuring that digital performance indicators are well understood and achievable

Required Qualifications

  • Valid working rights for the UK
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in reporting tools, including Google Analytics, Contentsquare, and Excel
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms
  • Proven track record in driving both daily enhancements and larger strategic initiatives that contribute to sales growth
  • Experience in team leadership and development
  • Self-motivated, independent, and proactive
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a comparable digital role within a retail or consumer brand
