Role Overview

This position presents an exciting opportunity to establish, manage, and implement a robust digital trading strategy. If you are passionate about digital commerce and possess a hands-on leadership style, this role is ideal for you. As we invest significantly in our digital capabilities, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the performance of the Frasers Group Customer Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily trading operations and execution across multiple online platforms.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive reports on trading performance, providing in-depth analysis of key business drivers and formulating action plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Guide the team in analyzing seasonal sales trends to enhance commercial awareness and understand competitor dynamics and customer behavior.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to create and manage the digital trading calendar.
  • Lead the execution and assessment of all on-site promotions and content initiatives.
  • Define and oversee long-term trading strategies, considering design and functionality enhancements that contribute to product development and user experience roadmaps.
  • Coordinate with the digital marketing team to ensure alignment between product and trading strategies across all channels.
  • Work with the optimization team to enhance the customer journey and support all campaigns and promotions to achieve key performance indicators.
  • Partner with the brand marketing team to ensure marketing assets are commercially viable and utilize tools to track asset performance.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to develop and implement evergreen and seasonal content strategies aimed at boosting SEO, customer engagement, and conversion rates.
  • Enhance product content processes, supporting teams in swiftly resolving issues to maximize sales.

Leadership and Team Development

  • Exhibit strong leadership and effective people management capabilities.
  • Establish clear objectives and development plans for team members.
  • Foster a cohesive and motivated team environment.
  • Actively contribute to the overall digital strategy.
  • Represent the Digital Trading Team within the broader organization, ensuring that digital KPIs are understood and achievable.
  • Possess valid working rights for the UK.
  • Demonstrate analytical skills with proficiency in reporting tools, including Google Analytics and Excel.
  • Have experience with e-commerce platforms.
  • Show a track record of driving both incremental improvements and strategic initiatives that enhance sales growth.
  • Possess experience in team management and development.
  • Be independent, self-motivated, and proactive.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar digital role within a retail or consumer brand context.
