Role Responsibilities:

As a vital member of the Supply Chain team, you will oversee the Demand Planning process for assigned accounts. Your role will involve maintaining the Demand Plan template and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure precise business forecasts.

Key Contributions:

  • Assist the Senior Demand Planner in executing the Demand Planning process.
  • Manage forecasts at SKU and customer levels for designated accounts.
  • Collaborate with Sales teams to provide accurate business forecasts.
  • Facilitate monthly demand reviews with the sales team for your accounts.
  • Challenge forecast assumptions constructively to achieve consensus on business forecasts.
  • Actively participate in the monthly S&OP process.
  • Coordinate with NPD, Marketing, and Finance to ensure effective planning for new launches and key events.
  • Engage with key retailers/customers to align on promotional forecasts.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs to assess forecast accuracy and bias.
  • Continuously seek enhancements in the demand planning process and implement best practices.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing to support the supply planning process, ensuring optimal stock and service levels.
  • Support Commercial Finance during the business cash-up process.
  • Incorporate social and environmental considerations into all aspects of the role.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in FMCG is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proficient in Advanced Excel, including functions like Pivot Tables and Vlookups.
  • Adept at working with large data sets and translating data into clear insights.
  • Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness.
  • Ability to influence and challenge stakeholders effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for stakeholder management.
  • Skilled in preparing and delivering presentations to diverse audiences.
  • Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Focus on continuous improvement and best practices.
  • ERP experience is a plus.
  • A genuine passion for pets is essential.
