We are looking for two Forecasting Analysts to become part of our expanding Economics and Statistical Forecasting team. This is a pivotal role in enhancing our organizational capabilities and establishing a leading business forecasting function. You will play a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making through effective forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Forecasting Analyst, you will report to the Head of Statistical Forecasting and will be responsible for:

  • Delivering short- and medium-term operational forecasts in accordance with the forecast calendar.
  • Maintaining and enhancing the forecast model suite while developing expertise in traffic patterns to ensure forecast accuracy.
  • Conducting statistical analyses of historical data to inform forecasts for special events and scenarios.
  • Monitoring and evaluating forecast accuracy to understand performance and key variance drivers.
  • Engaging with key stakeholders to foster trust and support for forecasts, providing insights through regular reporting.
  • Creating tools for forecast access, visualization, and analysis to meet business needs.
  • Implementing improvements to forecasting models and techniques to enhance accuracy and capability.

Candidate Profile:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Experience in modeling or forecasting for large, complex operations.
  • Strong statistical, numerical, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, GCP, or R.
  • Ability to communicate complex statistical and forecasting concepts clearly to non-experts.
  • Attention to detail and the capability to handle data accurately while drawing high-level, data-driven conclusions.
  • BSc or MSc in a quantitative field with significant experience in statistical modeling or data science.
