About the Role

Marks Consulting Partners Limited is seeking a highly skilled Housing Officer to join our team in East London. As a key member of our housing services team, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality housing management service to residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resident Engagement: Build meaningful relationships with residents, act as their voice, and advocate for their needs.
  • Housing Management: Deliver a responsive, efficient, and customer-focused housing management service, ensuring compliance with policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Issue Resolution: Co-ordinate issues on behalf of residents, represent their interests, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Knowledge and Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge of tenancy management, property management, and regulatory environments, including Housing and Immigration Law and Welfare Reform.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, communicate effectively with various audiences, and demonstrate empathy and care when interacting with others.
  • Continuous Learning: Commit to ongoing learning and professional development, including achieving the IRPM qualification and other relevant certifications.
Requirements
  • Housing Sector Experience: Proven experience in housing management, tenancy management, and property management.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Possess operational knowledge of the regulatory environment, risk management, compliance, and budget management.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to simplify complex information and communicate effectively with various audiences.
  • Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Demonstrate problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
