Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Housing Operations Manager to lead the income, service, and performance management of Causeway's housing portfolio. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our housing services, ensuring that they are delivered to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise a team of housing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver excellent services.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including landlords, contractors, and other external partners, to maintain constructive working relationships and ensure that our services are delivered efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and implement effective techniques, processes, and approaches to staff management, ensuring that our team is motivated and empowered to deliver excellent results.
  • Organize and prioritize a demanding and varied workload, planning work and projects, and successfully completing these to set deadlines.
  • Work closely with our finance team to ensure that our housing services are financially sustainable and that we are meeting our financial targets.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing housing services in a general-needs and homelessness setting.
  • Experience in staff management, including supervising and developing staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of housing legislation and regulations, including the Housing Act 1996 and the Homelessness Act 2002.
