We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Housing Operations Manager to lead the income, service, and performance management of Causeway's housing portfolio. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our housing services, ensuring that they are delivered to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise a team of housing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver excellent services.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including landlords, contractors, and other external partners, to maintain constructive working relationships and ensure effective communication.
  • Develop and implement effective techniques, processes, and approaches to staff management, ensuring that our housing services are delivered efficiently and effectively.
  • Organize and prioritize a demanding and varied workload, planning work and projects, and successfully completing them to set deadlines.
  • Work closely with our finance team to manage the income and expenditure of our housing portfolio, ensuring that we are operating within budget.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing housing services in a general-needs and homelessness setting.
  • Experience in staff management, including supervision and training.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of housing legislation and regulations, including the Housing Act 2004 and the Homelessness Act 2007.
