Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Head of Distribution to contribute to the achievement of profitable and sustainable growth in the frame of the Allianz Trade Group strategy. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a Northern Europe specific distribution strategy focusing on Banks, Brokers, Direct Sales Force, and Digital channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to a yearly marketing plan to drive business growth
  • Execute Distribution elements of the Confidence to be Bold strategy to achieve business objectives
  • Manage existing distribution channels to optimize performance
  • Develop new distribution channels to expand business reach
  • Resolve channel conflicts in favor of Allianz Trade Group to ensure seamless operations
  • Coordinate changes on compensation schemes in the frame of Allianz Trade's Group strategy to align with business goals
  • Share best practices, develop sales tools and training to enhance team performance
  • Govern all Distribution functions on regional and country level to ensure consistency and efficiency
  • Take responsibility for implementation of reporting (incl. Copernicus), Group Distribution rules and service model to drive business insights
  • Take personal responsibility in acquisition and management of top accounts, including the Deal Breakers process, and delivering the overall Commercial Budget
  • Interact regularly with top customers and partners in the region to build strong relationships
  • Contribute to productivity and efficiency topics to drive business growth

  • Ability to build extensive network with distribution partners to drive business growth
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization to ensure seamless communication
  • Ability to convince in negotiations to secure business deals
  • Build and motivate local teams to drive business performance
  • Attract, train and retain high potential employees to ensure talent pipeline
  • The ability to build long-term customer relationships in changing business environments to drive business growth
  • Extensive travel required to meet with customers and partners
  • Fluency in English to communicate effectively
