Job Title: Head of Sales and Distribution

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Head of Sales and Distribution to lead our sales and distribution efforts in the United Kingdom. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive revenue growth, expand our market presence, and build strong relationships with our customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning & Revenue Growth:
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue goals and expand our market presence.
    • Monitor sales performance, analyze results, and adjust strategies as needed to meet objectives.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute marketing and sales initiatives.
  • Distribution Network Management:
    • Build and maintain a robust distribution network to ensure comprehensive coverage and efficient supply chain operations.
    • Develop strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key stakeholders to enhance sales performance.
  • Performance Tracking:
    • Identify key products with slow or non-performing sales and develop strategies to overcome challenges.
    • Monitor KPIs to track performance and measure success against targets.
    • Stay up-to-date on industry developments, regulatory changes, and technological advancements to anticipate market trends and capitalize on growth opportunities.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
    • Lead, mentor, and inspire the sales and distribution team to achieve high performance and professional growth.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Ensure effective logistics and inventory management to meet customer demands and minimize stock outs.
    • Implement and oversee operational policies and procedures to drive efficiency and compliance.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Cultivate strong relationships with key customers, builders, architects, and stakeholders to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Address customer issues and feedback promptly and effectively.
  • Marketing & Brand Communication:
    • Plan and execute key promotional events to enhance brand awareness and drive sales.
    • Develop and enhance sales tools to support brand awareness and drive revenue growth.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales and distribution management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the sanitary products or related industry.
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent strategic thinking and analytical abilities.
    • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in CRM and ERP systems.
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • High level of integrity and professionalism.
