Job Overview

We are seeking a Technical & Governance Claims Consultant to provide exceptional claims administration support within our Technical Claims division. This role involves managing a diverse portfolio of claims while ensuring that all processes are executed with precision and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming inquiries to the Technical & Governance team, ensuring timely and effective resolution to enhance service delivery.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of technical cases, including the collection and follow-up of necessary medical documentation to maintain high standards of customer service.
  • Collaborate with the Technical & Governance Manager to prioritize complex cases, facilitating discussions to expedite resolutions.
  • Provide data and updates to foster strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders, optimizing claims management processes.
  • Assist in generating Management Information reports and analyzing data to identify key trends.
  • Support the Technical & Governance Manager in implementing the training strategy for the team.
  • Maintain a consistent level of service in accordance with established service level agreements, ensuring compliance with customer experience standards and policies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to manage and resolve customer inquiries and complaints effectively.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and achieve targets independently.
  • Experience in conducting detailed investigations to assess eligibility for Group Protection Claims.
  • Skilled in prioritizing workload to ensure efficiency.
