Job Overview

We are seeking a Technical & Governance Claims Consultant to provide exceptional claims administration within our Technical Claims team. This role involves a hybrid working arrangement, focusing on delivering high-quality service and support across our account portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming inquiries to the Technical & Governance team, ensuring timely action to uphold service standards.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of technical cases, including the collection of medical evidence and outstanding requests to maintain excellent customer service.
  • Collaborate with the Technical & Governance Manager to prioritize complex cases, facilitating effective resolutions.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders, including Independent Financial Advisors and Policyholders, to enhance claims management processes.
  • Assist in generating Management Information for the Technical & Governance team, analyzing data to identify key trends.
  • Support the Technical & Governance Manager in implementing the training plan for the team.
  • Ensure consistent and accurate service delivery in accordance with service level agreements and customer expectations, providing feedback for continuous improvement where necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to take ownership of customer inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage targets efficiently.
  • Experience in conducting comprehensive investigations to assess eligibility for Group Protection Claims.
  • Capable of managing workload independently and prioritizing tasks effectively.
