About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Operational Support Team Consultant. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the maintenance of scheme data and administering and updating individual member records.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide an efficient administration and claims service to individual scheme members and intermediaries, including manual calculations for Defined Benefit Pension Schemes.
- Draft and issue clear and concise communication to both members and 3rd party intermediaries regarding Defined Benefit Pension scheme benefits.
- Responsible for calculating individual Defined Benefits quotations and ensuring that documents/letters and statements are correct.
- Responsible for the checking of and authorising of the payment of Defined Benefits claims.
- Act as a technical expert for the team, providing guidance and support on sensitive or priority schemes.
- Set up and maintain scheme records, investigating anomalies and taking appropriate action.
- Ensure all standard operating procedures are followed for all processes and that a full audit trail exists.

Requirements
