Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Claims Consultant to join our team at Legal & General. As a key member of our Technical Claims team, you will be responsible for providing proactive and comprehensive claims administration across our account portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Triage new queries and ensure timely action to support service delivery
  • Undertake technical team reviews, including requesting or following up on medical evidence
  • Work with the Technical Claims Manager to prioritize complex case roundtables
  • Support the provision of data and updates to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist in the provision of Management Information and data analysis for key trends
  • Support the delivery of the Technical Claims training plan
  • Ensure a consistent, timely, and accurate level of service in line with service level agreements and customer expectations

Requirements

  • Drive to take ownership of and resolve customer queries and complaints
  • Excellent IT skills in Word, Excel, and other Microsoft products
  • Ability to work to deadlines and targets
  • Authorized approval limits as agreed by the Head of Claims
  • Ability to carry out thorough and comprehensive investigations
  • Responsible for managing own workload and prioritizing appropriately
