Job Overview

We are seeking a PMO Analyst to become a vital part of our Group Functions. This role is designed to assist the PMO management team in developing, implementing, and integrating governance and processes for designated projects and changes. The position also involves supporting financial processes, including monitoring and reporting on project expenditures and investment approvals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulating methods, artifacts, controls, and processes to facilitate the efficient management of the PMO.
  • Assisting in the creation of monthly reporting packages and representing the team in stakeholder review meetings as necessary.
  • Collaborating with embedded PMOs to verify and question underlying data, ensuring that discrepancies and conflicts are identified and addressed in accordance with company standards.
  • Contributing to the assessment and management of financial resources.
  • Working closely with stakeholders on resource allocation and demand management to ensure optimal use of resources, minimizing underutilization and unnecessary costs.
  • Establishing and enhancing best practices for Management Information (MI) collection across portfolios and conducting proactive checks across various data sources, such as PPM, resource, and financial data.
  • Leading initiatives for process enhancements and cost-saving measures to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • Significant experience in a PMO environment.
  • Exposure to financial and analytical tasks, with the ability to contextualize financial data to support project viability within the portfolio.
  • Experience working within an embedded PMO.
  • Strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with team members, client departments, and external partners.
  • The capability to proactively assess existing processes, identify inefficiencies, and develop or enhance processes to promote continuous improvement.
