Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Management Office (PMO) Coordinator to join our team at Legal & General Resources Limited. As a PMO Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting the governance and control of our Service Office, ensuring the effective delivery of our Group Change Portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the PMO Team: Assist in the delivery of key project/portfolio processes and ensure a high level of service is provided to our stakeholders.
  • Portfolio and Project Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date portfolio, project, and resource data within our PPM tool, ensuring all projects and resources are correctly tracked and aligned by cost centre, workstream, etc.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Support the PMO with demand and capacity reporting, maintaining a view of the resource profile, and ensuring monthly reporting requirements are received on time and of the required quality.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor PM adherence to lifecycle framework and associated standards, controls, and processes, including staged gate process.
  • Supplier Management: Ensure supplier work orders are processed in line with L&G approvals processes.
  • Meeting Support: Assist in the production of packs for all relevant meetings, capture and track minutes/actions and decisions from key meeting forums in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements:
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience working in PMO is desirable.
  • Methodologies and Tools: Familiarity with a variety of project management methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile, and the appropriate application of these methods.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of project management processes, tools, performance measurement, and metrics. Numerate and analytical. Exposure to financial/analytical activities.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent organisational skills with strong Microsoft Office skills, including MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint. Keyed In or equivalent PPM tool would be an advantage.
