Leadership and Innovation: Oversee project prioritization, troubleshoot complex challenges, and respond to inquiries from senior staff. Hands-on Expertise: Define and support various assays while contributing to the development of innovative methods in proteomics. Utilize your analytical skills to evaluate projects and enhance study designs. Collaboration and Mentorship: Foster strong relationships with internal and external collaborators, demonstrating a flexible approach and the ability to mentor and inspire others. Technical Advancement: Engage in projects that enhance the capabilities of our Proteomics facility and contribute to the institute's scientific impact.Qualifications and Skills Required:
Extensive hands-on experience with quantitative proteomic techniques. Proficient knowledge and practical experience with advanced mass spectrometers, particularly Orbitrap models. Familiarity with statistical or computational methods is highly desirable.Educational Background:
A PhD in analytical chemistry, life sciences, or substantial relevant experience.Essential Skills:
Ability to analyze quantitative mass spectrometry data and interpret findings. Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with diverse personalities at all levels. Experience with R language is also advantageous.Commitment to Innovation:
A genuine interest in staying abreast of the latest advancements in proteomics and contributing to research publications.This position is funded for an initial period, with the potential for extension based on performance and funding availability.
