Are you passionate about advancing cancer research? We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Scientific Associate or Senior Scientific Associate (commensurate with experience) to contribute to our innovative Proteomics Facility.

Your Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Innovation: Take charge in project prioritization, resolve complex challenges, and respond to inquiries from senior staff or collaborators.
- Practical Expertise: Define and support various assays, contributing to the development and implementation of novel methodologies in proteomics. Utilize your analytical skills to assess projects and provide feedback on method and study design.
- Collaboration and Mentorship: Work closely with both internal and external partners, maintaining a flexible and cooperative approach while mentoring and inspiring colleagues.
- Technical Advancement: Engage in projects that enhance the capabilities of our Proteomics facility and contribute to the scientific output of the institute.
Required Qualifications:
- Extensive hands-on experience with quantitative proteomic techniques.
- Proficient knowledge and practical experience with advanced mass spectrometers, preferably Orbitrap models.
- Familiarity with statistical or computational methods is highly desirable.
Essential Skills:
- Ability to analyze quantitative mass spectrometry data and interpret findings effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging confidently with diverse personalities and staff at all levels.
- Experience with R programming is also advantageous.
Commitment to Innovation:
- A strong interest in staying abreast of the latest developments in proteomics and contributing to research publications.
This position is funded for an initial period of 18 months.
