Key responsibilities:

Leadership and innovation: Oversee project prioritization, resolve complex challenges, and address inquiries from senior collaborators. Practical expertise: Define and support a variety of assays while contributing to the development and implementation of innovative methods in proteomics. Utilize analytical skills to assess projects and provide feedback on method and study design. Collaboration and mentorship: Engage with both internal and external partners, demonstrating a flexible and cooperative work style, while also mentoring and inspiring colleagues. Technical advancement: Participate in projects aimed at enhancing the capabilities of our Proteomics facility and the scientific contributions of the institute.

Qualifications:

A PhD in analytical chemistry, a life science discipline, or substantial relevant experience.

Essential skills:

Proficiency in analyzing quantitative mass spectrometry data and interpreting results. Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse personalities across various levels of seniority. Familiarity with R language is highly desirable.

Commitment to innovation:

A keen interest in staying abreast of the latest developments in proteomics and contributing to research publications.

This position is funded for an initial period of 18 months.
